On the set of a retro apartment in her hometown of Los Angeles, California, Kazumi introduces herself as photographer Madeline Northway captures her. I have always been loudly sexually liberated,

she begins. I feel like people find it easy to get comfortable around me and share intimate sides of themselves.
For Kazumi, living as authentically as possible is her driving force. My passion is being as free as possible. I want to enjoy my life without feeling like it's conditional,
she says. I want to celebrate without limits.
And her work allows her that. My motto? 'Why can't sluts change the world?' Female empowerment looks like us being able to do and represent ourselves exactly how we want, without judgment,
she says. What I love most about my job is that I am in control.
